Is Live Link really free?
Yes, completely free. We make money when you switch plans through us. But here's the thing: we only recommend switches that actually save you money. If your current plan is the best option, we'll tell you that - and we won't bug you until something better comes along.
What data can you see?
Usage data only: how much electricity you use and when. We cannot see what appliances you're using, control your power, or access any personal information beyond what's needed to identify your meter. We use the same data access that any authorized energy provider could request.
Will you switch my plan without asking?
Never. We send you recommendations; you decide. Every switch requires your explicit approval. We believe you should make informed decisions - that's the whole point. We're your advisor, not your autopilot.
What if I move?
Update your address, and we'll connect to your new meter. If you're moving within the same TDU area, your meter data history transfers too. Moving out of Texas? We'll miss you - Live Link only works where smart meter data is available (currently Texas).
How accurate are the savings estimates?
Very. We use YOUR actual 12-month usage history, not estimates or averages. We calculate Total Annual Cost for every available plan based on what you actually use. No surprises.
