Why I Love Working at Compare Power I love working at Compare Power because I believe every conversation is an opportunity to make someone’s day a little easier. Behind every phone call is a real person, a real family, and a real situation they are trying to navigate. Energy costs can be confusing and overwhelming, and I love being the person who can bring clarity, patience, and a sense of relief. For me, this job is about more than just helping someone choose a plan. It’s about listening, understanding what matters to them, and making sure they feel confident in the decision they’re making. What Drives My Work Excellence My motivation comes from something much bigger than a paycheck. It comes from the life I’m building for my children and the example I want to set for them. I’ve learned that showing up with consistency, integrity, and a good attitude matters—even on the days when life feels heavy. I believe your character shows in the way you handle the small things, which is why I take pride in being thorough, honest, and dependable in everything I do. I’m someone who loves details. I don’t like leaving people confused or feeling rushed. I enjoy taking the time to break things down, explain options clearly, and make sure someone truly understands before making a decision. To me, trust is earned, and the best customer experiences come from genuinely caring about the person on the other end of the conversation. A Little About Me I’m 29 years old, and my three children are my biggest motivation and my greatest blessing. They are my “why.” Everything I do is with the goal of creating a future where they know they are loved, supported, and capable of achieving anything they set their minds to. My journey hasn’t always been easy. I lost my mom when I was 19, and that was a moment that changed my life forever. I had to learn how to navigate adulthood, challenges, and responsibilities without the person I thought would always be there to guide me. I had to become my own support system and learn how to keep moving forward, even when things felt uncertain. I’ve faced difficult seasons, moments of heartbreak, financial struggles, and times where I had to dig deeper than I ever thought possible. But those experiences taught me something important: challenges don’t define us—they teach us what we’re capable of. Every obstacle I’ve overcome has made me more compassionate, more patient, and more determined. It’s helped me understand that everyone is carrying something we may not see, which is why I approach people with kindness and empathy. Today, I’m not just working toward success for myself. I’m building a legacy for my children. I want them to look back and know that their mom never gave up, never stopped believing, and always found a way forward. I bring that same determination, resilience, and heart into my work every day.
